Developed and written by participants of the Tolka River Project with Drama Tutor Martina O’Connor (Adult Education Service, Blanchardstown – DDLETB), Harsh Realities ... is a visceral, honest, and unapologetic piece of community theatre.

Told through poetry, music, interviews, and choreographed chaos, this powerful performance dives deep into lives impacted by addiction, homelessness, family separation, and recovery.

Real voices. Real stories. Real strength.

This play doesn't ask for your sympathy. It demands your attention.
It offers no easy answers - just a raw, hopeful journey from the edge of despair toward a fragile but fierce sense of hope, healing, and change.
